Lauren Burnham Denies She's Pregnant After Drinking 'Fake Mimosas' With Arie

Stopping pregnancy speculation in its tracks! Lauren Burnham set the record straight after drinking a non-alcoholic beverage with Arie Luyendyk Jr.

“We have Martinelli’s so we can have little fake mimosas,” the Virginia native, 28, said in a Wednesday, October 14, YouTube video. “No one’s pregnant here so don’t get any ideas.”

She and the former Bachelor, 39, became parents in May 2019 when their daughter, Alessi, now 16 months, arrived. While the former reality stars found out in May that they were pregnant with baby No. 2, they suffered a miscarriage.

Becca Tobin and More Stars Who Are Honest About Their Fertility Struggles

“We made so many plans,” the Bachelor Nation members captioned their YouTube reveal at the time. “We bought a new house with more space, we planned how we wanted to tell you all and we envisioned our future with Alessi’s little brother/sister.”

The Shades of Rose designer opened up in September about how “emotional” she was feeling after the pregnancy loss, writing on her Instagram Story that she’d “taken more pregnancy tests” than she wanted to admit.

“Each one has been a big fat no,” Burnham added at the time. “I was actually convinced I was pregnant this month only to find out yesterday that I wasn’t.”

Earlier that same month, the season 22 contestant revealed she was “discouraged” while trying to conceive a second child.

These ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ Babies Will Melt Your Heart

“We have been trying for a couple of months,” the former tech salesperson explained at the time. “I know it’s not been long yet, but since our miscarriage we’ve wanted another baby so bad. I know it’s not been long yet, but since our miscarriage we’ve been sad and discouraged the last couple of months because of it but trying to stay positive. It will happen when it’s our time.”

Burnham exclusively told Us Weekly in May that she was previously on the fence about giving Alessi a younger sibling.

“We want more [kids], but there was one point where I questioned whether I would ever do that again,” she told Us. “It was the end of my pregnancy that really made me question it. It was really difficult. I could barely breathe or talk. I think I just had way too much ice cream, so I gained a lot more weight than I should have, and it made things really difficult for me. So I won’t do that the next time.”

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott Are Doing ‘Amazingly’ at Coparenting Stormi

The perfect team! Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are still killing it at raising their daughter, Stormi, together after their split.

Drew Barrymore, Will Kopelman and More Former Couples Crushing Coparenting

“Kylie and Travis are coparenting amazingly right now and love spending time together with Stormi and making her happy,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Travis is a hands-on, super engaged dad and always wants to make Stormi smile. She is such a happy child.”

Though Jenner, 23, and Scott, 29, have been on and off as a couple since their breakup last year, the insider adds that “there is still love there on both sides and it shows when they are together.”

The Kylie Cosmetics mogul and “Sicko Mode” rapper were first linked in 2017 following her split from Tyga. The duo then welcomed their 2-year-old daughter in February 2018.

Everything Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott Have Said About Their Daughter Stormi

Us confirmed in October 2019 that the pair had called it quits after more than two years of dating. A source told Us this past July that Jenner and Scott are “not putting pressure” on reconciling.

“Kylie is at a place in her life where she’s having fun and is not worried about what her future romantic relationship with Travis looks like,” the insider revealed. “They love spending time together and parenting Stormi.”

Coparenting Stormi has been the exes’ top priority following their split. Earlier this month, Scott opened up about how he is shaping their little one into being a strong woman.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott: A Timeline of Their Relationship

“I feel like it’s way more important now to protect our young Black daughters, women,” the “Goosebumps” rapper, 29, said WAV RADIO With Chase B on October 7. “Making sure they have the knowledge of just how to carry yourself, how to move in this world, how to be strong, how to not even be scared to take that risk on any idea.”

Scott wants for Stormi to have “pure vision” in the future and to know that “anything a man can do … a woman can do.”

Though the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is “definitely” interested in expanding her brood someday, an insider revealed to Us last month that she’s “just not sure” if it will be with Scott. That being said, the youngest KarJenner sibling is in no rush to get started on baby No. 2.

“I don’t want another baby right now. I want seven kids down the line, but not right now,” she said during an Instagram Live in April. “Pregnancy is just not a joke. It’s a serious thing and it’s hard. I’m not ready for that just yet.”

Bekah Martinez Challenges Critics Who Questioned Photo of Son Franklin, 3 Months, in a 'Girly' Bow

Bekah Martinez is challenging societal gender norms.

On Monday, the Bachelor alum, 25, shared an adorable photo of son Franklin James, 3½ months, on Instagram, proud of the autumnal photoshoot with the infant. The baby boy sat on a chair wearing a maroon onesie, socks and a bow on his head, with tiny decorative pumpkins completing the scene around him.

"FALLing for you more each day 🥺🍂," she wrote of her son, whom she welcomed in June with boyfriend Grayston Leonard. (The pair also share daughter Ruth Ray De La Luz, 20 months.)

When some social media users questioned why Martinez dressed her child in a "girly" bow, the mom of two responded on her Instagram Story, saying everyone should "normalize" not conforming to gender-based constructs.

"Do I do things like this sometimes to rile people up? Sure, I love to see them mad. Don't get it twisted," she admitted. "But with [my] leg hair, with putting Frank in a bow, with whatever the hell else I post, I also want to challenge people's ideas of what's right or wrong, or what you should or shouldn't do."

Bekah Martinez Says There's 'Nothing Weird About Feeding and Soothing My Toddler via Breast'

"I think in this particular instance, I think we should normalize being able to put boys in bows and things that are 'girly,' " she continued. "What the f— is 'girly' about a bow? It's literally a piece of ribbon or fabric tied in a certain way. That's dumb. Anyway, that's all."

In text posted over her video message, Martinez wrote that she intends to continue "challenging ideas of what's wrong or right or normal or attractive or whatever."

"And I love that most people didn't say a thing about it!!!" she added. "that actually makes me way happier than hundreds of people getting upset."

Halle Berry Responds to Criticism After Her Son, 6, Wears Heels: 'Have a Laugh and Some Compassion'

Last week, Martinez posted photos of herself with Franklin and Ruth, writing a positive message about being comfortable and confident in one's own skin, a trait she said she hopes to pass down to them.

"I hope my babies grow up to live in a world where there's nothing brave about happily existing in your body," she wrote.

Celebrating Grayston's 32nd birthday last month, Martinez posted a sweet group photo of the family of four, joking that she has "accepted that our corny-ass family will probably never get everyone smiling in a single photo."

Never wear this color on a job interview

Unless you’re applying for a job in an industry that’s very formal, like finance or corporate law, you have lots of options these days when it comes to your interview attire — from a statement dress, to a sweater with dress slacks, to standbys like suit blazers or a button-down blouse (per The Balance Careers). If you’re interviewing at a really casual company, like a startup, you might even be able to get away with a dark pair of jeans, per The Muse

But job interview attire is not “anything goes.” You don’t want those jeans to be ripped, for one thing, and you should avoid wearing anything sloppy. “The rule still applies that you dress for the job you want — not the job you have or are applying for,” etiquette expert Diane Gottsman explained to The Muse. “… Remember that this is still the first time some of these people will see you.”

Above all else, you don’t want to wear the color orange. But why isn’t orange the new black business suit? In a CareerBuilder survey of more than 2,000 hiring managers, a full quarter of them said they linked this color with being “unprofessional.” Orange has also been associated with a lack of self-confidence in other studies, according to CheatSheet. Orange you glad we warned you? (We had to.)

How to incorporate bright colors into your job interview outfit

So if the color orange is out, what should you wear to a job interview? Pretty much any neutral colors, according to that same CareerBuilder survey, with blue ranking as the most positively perceived color among 23 percent of those questioned. White, black, and gray also are winners.

Wearing simple colors certainly will keep the focus on your credentials — that way, there’s no way your future boss’ mind will wander away from what’s on your resume or what you’re saying, as she ponders how very much you resemble a traffic cone. “The goal of any interview is to communicate what unique value you bring to the company and its culture,” chief people officer at CareerBuilder, Michelle Armer, told Money. “A good rule of thumb: make sure the people remember you more than your clothes.”

But what if you want to convey personality through your clothing, and drab neutrals just aren’t your thing? You can add a pop of color with accessories like jewelry or a scarf; if you’ve got blue or green eyes, it can be flattering to choose a blouse that picks up the hue. Keep those fabulous orange earrings in your jewelry box, though, just to be on the safe side. You can wear them at the company holiday party instead — after you’ve landed the job.

Matthew McConaughey Opens Up about Raising Creative Kids (They Even Took People’s Cover Photo!)

Matthew McConaughey is no stranger to deftly juggling whatever life throws his way. But like many parents navigating pandemic life, the star has faced the unique challenge of raising his little ones in quarantine.

To McConaughey’s proud delight, Levi, 12, Vida, 10, and Livingston, 8, his with kids wife Camila, 37, have more than risen to the occasion.

“One of the assets of this COVID quarantine is they’ve been forced to be more self-reliant. They’ve been forced to create their way out of their boredom,” he says.

One particular passion and skill they’ve honed is photography. “They’re into it — all three [of the kids],” he says. “They’re becoming a production crew. It’s very cool, [and] they’re starting to get kind of good at it.”

So good in fact that the young trio collaborated on a photo shoot of their dad for PEOPLE, including snapping this week’s cover image!

Their creative interests are varied and far-reaching.

“They’re becoming pretty good storytellers [too],” McConaughey says. “Our youngest one will come fill us in: ‘Oh, I’m on chapter two …’ Vida really likes to paint and draw and loves graphic novels. … For Levi it’s probably more music. Basically he came out of the womb knowing a minor from major key on the piano. In the last six months, he really got into listening to composers, and he now can listen to a movie and tell you, ‘Oh, that’s Hans Zimmer,’ or ‘That’s John Williams,’ which is really cool.”

As he and Camila, an entrepreneur, philanthropist and founder of Women of Today (WOP) online community, ready themselves for the ever-nearing teenage years, McConaughey says, “My hope is that our kids are conscientious and confident and autonomous. … All three are very, very caring and kind individuals.”

He adds, “I can tell you this: I’m happy and confident to say our kids do not question the love we have in our family.”

James Van Der Beek's Family Arrives in Texas After 'Drastic' Life Changes

Starting over! James Van Der Beek and his family have reached their new Texas home after a weeklong road trip.

“We’ve landed,” the Dawson’s Creek alum, 43, captioned a Tuesday, October 13, Instagram slideshow. “In the last 10 months, we’ve had two late-term pregnancy losses, each of which put [my wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek], in the hospital, we spent Christmas break thinking she had a tumor (the doctor was wrong, thank god), a business colleague I hired hijacked the project and stabbed me in the back, I was prematurely booted off a reality dancing show, [Dancing With the Stars], I was favored to win in front of the whole world and my mom, [Melinda Weber], died. And a shut-down [due to the coronavirus pandemic].”

The actor went on to write, “All of that led to some drastic changes in our lives, and dreams, and priorities … and landed us here. Overflowing with profound gratitude today.”

He and the Washington native, 38, documented their move from California last month. “Sometimes a fuller life begins with an empty house,” the Varsity Blues star wrote via Instagram in September. “Leaving Los Angeles incredibly grateful for all the friends and memories we’ve made here. Onto the next big adventure!”

Kimberly shared their motivations in a “The Make Down” podcast episode, explaining, “I think we’re in a time right now where people are wanting to ground themselves a little bit more into nature. And L.A. has been a magical place for many years for me. So much life has been lived here. I’m going to go through a process to leave. I mean, I birthed three kids in the home I’m living in. But you know, I gotta get out of the concrete jungle for a little bit.”

The family of six spent 10 days on the road to Texas along with their “two new rescue pups.” Kimberly shared shots of the canines in September, writing, “Their names are Windsor (blue eyed gray one) and Able. Able means breath. And we need a lot of breath right now. Rocky and Skye bonded with them right away.”
